Health Study Day.

A health study day was held at Penkridge Peace Memorial Hall on Sunday 25th October 2009. Guest Speakers were: Dr Andreas Schemel, Simon Swift MRCVS, Sue Manning MRCVS and topics covered : Hemi vertebrae, Brachycephalic Syndrome, Heart abnormalities, Eye conditions and changes to the breed standard. Over 50 members attended and the day was a great success.

Roger Parker

It is with great sadness that we report the sudden death of Roger Parker. Roger has been a keen supporter of our club for over 30 years. Most recently he has filled the vacant post as Acting Treasurer. Prior to that he has been an auditor of the club accounts. Although not a member of the committee Roger devoted a great deal of time to the club and without his hard work and devotion the Club's Golden Anniversary Year would not have been the success that it was. Roger will be greatly missed. We thank all exhibitors present at our Championship Show for their donations to the prize money collection and the Raffle which will be donated to The Samaritans, a charity that Roger did much work for.
